Fosso Corno Il Grande Montepulciano

  • Varietals: 100% Montepulciano

  • Vineyards: 1.6 hectares planted to a density of 4500 vines per hectare. Exposure is to the west at an altitude of 160 meters above sea level.

  • Winemaking: After a 14-day fermentation, the wine rests in steel vats. In December, the wine undergoes a second fermentation. The wine is poured through previously dried grapes of Montepulciano and this process triggers a second fermentation which conveys to “Il Grande” an important structure and elegance. The wine rests for 12 months in french oak barrels of 500 liters (Tonneaux).
