Varietals: 50% Sangiovese and 50% Prugnolo Gentile
Vineyards: Casanova, Tuscany, 20 hectares located 300 meters a.s.l. with southern exposure. Farmed sustainably, with no use of herbicides or pesticides. Vines average 18 years of age.
Soils: Sandy, with ocean sediments
Winemaking: After one hour of contact with skins in the press, alcoholic fermentation occurs using native yeasts over 15 days at 18°C. The wine then spends 3 months in stainless steel vats on its lees before natural clarification and bottling.
