Prà Soave 'Monte Grande'

  • Vineyards: Located in Monteforte d’Alpone at an elevation of 150 meters above sea level. Vines are approximately 40 years old and trained in the Pergola Veronese method. Southern exposure.

  • Soils: Volcanic

  • Varietals: 70% Garganega, 30% Trebbiano di Soave

  • Winemaking: Trebbiano di Soave is harvested in mid September. Grapes are dried on the vines for one month. Garganega harvest is in mid October. The grapes are destemmed and pressed softly. Fermentation is carried out at 18° in large 15-20 hl casks made of Allier oak. The wine is then left in casks to mature for 10 months.
